Trump's foreign Policy and his equation with Putin

With the date of inauguration drawing near, US President -elect Donald Trump is  showing signs of a real businessman  in dealing with Russia carefully while treating Putin in a friendly manner as his nominee for US Secretary of State ,Rex Tillerson termed Russia a danger and advised that sanctions against Moscow may remain intact.
TRump proposed to reward Putin by lifting some of the sanctions in the event of Russia’s substantially reducing the nuclear weapons arsenal on the lines adopted in 2010 New Strategic Arms Reduction treaty signed by Moscow and  President Barack Obama.

Trump stated “For one thing ,I think nuclear weapons should be way down and reduced very substantially ,that’s part of it.But Russia hurting very badly right now because of sanctions ,but I think something can happen that a lot of people are going to benefit.

Trump’s foreign policy still remains vague with variations in his approach vis-a vis his nominees for running his administration.

Three types of Russia sanctions are enforced that can be modified after TRump moves into the Oval Office .1)Moscow’s sale of weapons to other countries that US wants to isolate .2)Moscow’s Human rights violations3) Putin’s support to separatists in east Ukraine and annexation of Crimea

Trump will be under immense pressure from Congress ie both Republicans and Democrats lawmakers  to wean him away from accommodating Putin .With playing a major role in Syria, Putin is eyeing for a leadership role in global matters . Recently, Palestinian authority has asked Russia to intervene in the issue of Trump contemplating to relocate US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. But US allies are worried about Russian President invading one of the Eastern Europe’s Nato members and Obama ensured security of Poland and Baltic region by deploying additional troops over a potential Russian aggression.Trump ‘s comments that “NATO was obsolete because it had not defended against terrorist attacks” had raised lot of concern across the 28 member alliance.

Trump has to be very careful of posting his comments on twitter social networking site as his single word can have huge implications in the International forum and US allies including European Union may be considerably concerned
of his Foreign Policy related to Russia, China, Iran  and provocative statements that will have adverse consequences.
The former ExxonMobil CEO Tillerson said “Russia’s increased assertiveness stems from the 1991 dissolution of the Soviet Union and Russia more than anything ,wants to re-establish its role in the global world order.”And if Trump will lift economic sanctions than Russia will benefit financially that may enable it to reassert  its influence globally.
