Israel, Saudi meddling in Syria

The Syrian conflict is in seventh year with many players like Russia, U.S., China are flexing their military  and power.

The Arab Spring started with Tunisia and Cairo protests against Middle East dictators and there in 2011 ,Daraa became the story of the Syrian uprising in which security forces gunned down nearly 100 protesters across the country. Then came the existence of an organised militia called the Free Syrian Army  mostly made of defectors from Assad's regime. The Syrian conflict is in seventh year with many players like Russia, U.S., China are flexing their military  and power. Also Saudi Arabia and Israel have also come in the picture to counter Iran's influence in Syria. Syria's relations with Iran dates back to 1980 and is critical to Tehran's regional aim.

While Saudi Arabia and Israel are worried over the increasing influence of Shiite Iran and has expressed their reservations to U.S. President Donald Trump about Iran getting stronger economically after the nuclear deal in exchange for removing sanctions. On 7th April, U.S. Navy launched a barrage of 59 cruise missiles against Syria's Shayrat airbase, the suspected source of the chemical attack.

U.S. accused Syrian President Bashar-al-Assad of ordering a chemical weapons attack against civilians at  Khan Sheikhoun, a district of Syria's rebel-held northwestern Idlib governorate. Russia intervened in 2015 at the request of the Assad regime in order to prevent its collapse and help it regain lost territory, Putin got an opportunity to secure  Moscow’s credentials after the demise of the Soviet Union and in safeguarding its assets in the Mediterranean.  Trump allowed Vladimir Putin to play a major role in stabilizing Syria Both the US and Russia agreed to set up ceasefire zones in Syria denotes Moscow’s new role.
The victory over Aleppo was won with the assistance from Russia. Assad asserted that Russian bombs  have targeted rebel units and ISIS infrastructure and strongholds.

Denying that there is a civil war in Syria,Syrian Ambassador to India Dr Riad Kamel Abbas said "Syria has been converted into a warzone by US and GCC  to stall second Russian pipeline  to Germany  and Austria contemplated under Baltic sea .The Syria war is basically  for economic interests  and USA has planned  to overthrow  the Syrian government  to   build a natural gas pipeline  from Qatar that transversed Syria through turkey to Europe  and the entire project is executed by Turkey and Qatar to put pressure on Russia’s Gazprom and in this plan coalition of some of GCC like Qatar, Saudi Arabia ,USA  and Europe  are working  in tandem to break down the power structure in Syria  and also to prevent Iranian gas pipeline to come to Mediterranean."

There are 2 factors through which peace can be brought  back to Syria :
 1)      First make pressure  on the neighbouring countries  to close their borders  so that terrorists does not infiltrate .
 2)      Stop funding terrorism, close the school of terrorism  in direct words wahhabism should be banned , Saudi Arabia created Al Qaeda and other branches of terror groups in Pakistan, Afghanistan under the supervision of America.

Israel, Saudi Arabia, Russia, U.S.  and China are vying for their influence in Syria :

Israel is not in favour of stabilizing Syria under Assad  and keeping this in view Israeli forces attacked pro-Syrian government groups in the countryside of Quneitra, which is located in the 30 percent of the Golan Heights that is not under Israeli occupation.

Saudi Arabia has bean providing financial and weapons assistance to anti -Assad militants. To counter Shiite Iran and its allies, Saudis consider regime change in Syria and has been infusing sectarian divisions by allowing Saudi Sunnis to travel to Syria  to wage jihad against Shias.

Russia has expanded its military presence by celebrating its Navy Day at Tartus in Syria on July 31st. Putin has struck a deal with Assad government in January 2017 for establishing Moscow's presence at the  Hmeymim air base with a lease over the next 49 years and options to renew the presence of troops there for 25-year-long periods. It is now Moscow’s only permanent Mediterranean base after President Vladimir Putin signed it into law.

Syrian Ambassador said "Russia ,China  are giving  a tough challenge to  US dominion status  and unipolar world does not exist now."Thus new Bloc consisting of China, Russia is emerging rapidly to counter U.S. presence across the world.
