Modi,Rahul to address rallies in Rajasthan : Jats vote on agenda

Jaipur division and Jats vote bank is critical  both for BJP and Congress and Modi and Rahul both the prime ministerial candidates are quite aware of this fact and will be  addressing political rallies in Alwar, Dausa .BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and  Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi will address election rallies in the poll-bound Rajasthan on Tuesday.

Jaipur division consists of  five districts of Jaipur, Sikar, Dausa, Alwar and Jhunjhunu, which has 50 assembly constituencies, of which 8 are reserved for the schedule cast  and the schedule tribe (ST).
Rahul Gandhi will address two rallies, in Chittorgarh at 11 am, and in Bikaner at 1 pm.

Bharatiya Janata Party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will be in Rajasthan on Tuesday to address five  rallies ahead of the state Assembly elections on December 1.

Today, Modi will speak to the audiences at four places in the desert state.

According to Rajasthan BJP vice president Onkar Singh Lakhawat, the Gujarat Chief Minister will address public rallies in Alwar, at Pala village in Bharatpur’s Deeg Kumher Assembly constituency, Sawaimadhopur and in Dausa’s Bandikui area.
Kirori Lal Meena’s National People Party , which has a strong base in Dausa, will certainly  make dent on both BJP and Congress on several seats in eastern and southern Rajasthan.

Jata is the major component since it impacts the overall politics of the state and  in  Jhunjhunu the major vote bank comprises of Jats, Rajputs, SCs and Muslims
The Rajasthan unit of the National People's Party said it would provide good governance and ensure all-round development of the state if it was voted to power in the ensuing assembly polls.
The Gehlot government had not done anything for the public while the BJP had failed to perform its role as a major opposition party in the state, Rajasthan NPP patriarch  Kirori Lal Meena told repoters here.
The NPP would provide good governance and uninterrupted electricity to farmers and ensure all-round development of the state in the event of its coming to power in Rajasthan, he said.

A significant threat to the BJP party’s prospects this time around is party rebel Kirori Lal Meena, a sworn detractor of Raje. The independent MP from Dausa constituency.

BJP national president Rajnath Singh has made it clear in unequivocal terms that state president Vasundhara Raje “is the BJP’s chief ministerial candidate” in the coming elections.

Meena assessed the public mood during yatra,Meena launched PA Sangma’s National People’s Party (NPP) in Rajasthan and has announced that he would field candidates in all 200 constituencies.

Meena was part of Raje’s Parivartan Yatra in 2003 but parted ways with BJP in 2008  citing that he did not like Raje’s style of functioning .

There is a real threat to BJP in Rajasthan as the  tribal leader has sway over 10 constituencies of the state and played a pivotal role in BJP’s defeat in 2008 elections by taking away six assembly seats from the saffron party’s kitty.
There are chances that  that Ramdas Agarwal and Ghanshyam Tiwari from BJP may join hands with Meena, BJP may find it tough to attaract votes.
