Narendra Modi is welcome in Pakistan, says Hafiz Saeed

Pakistani terror outfit Jamaat-ud-Dawa leader Hafiz Saeed, who said Nawaz Sharif betrayed the people of Pakistan by attending the swearing in ceremony of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi,is now in favour of Modi's visit to Pakistan.

Hafiz Saeed argues that his organization doesn't "participate in such 'politics & protests'". Saeed was responding to the furore that followed his meeting with journalist Ved Pratap Vaidik, also aide to yoga guru Ramdev, who is close to BJP.

Saeed also pointed to the two discussing the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. "We discussed how all 26/11 evidences provided by India have been rejected & asked Mr.Vaidik, why India does not respect Pakistani courts?" tweeted Saeed.

In an expected move Hafiz Saeed is terming politicians of Indian parliament with extremist thinking. So Mr Saeed terrorism is different from secularism, being secular does not provide you a handle  to invite or talk politely to terrorists .

"Row in Indian parliament over a journalist's meeting with us shows the extremism, narrow mindedness of their politicians. Utterly Shameful," he wrote, adding, "Sadly,So called 'Secular' India is unable to bear an informal meeting of her journalist, Mr.Vaidik, another eg of Indian narrow mindedness."

Saeed, on microblogging website Twitter, revealed that when Dr Vaidik asked him if he would protest Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Pakistan, the 26/11 attack mastermind replied his organisation does not participate in “such politics & protests"".

Hafiz Muhammad Saeed (@HafizSaeedJUD) tweet"We meet everyone with an open heart, whoever wants to meet; regardless of nation, belief or religion. #VidekMeeting (sic)

Sadly,So called 'Secular' India is unable to bear an informal meeting of her journalist, Mr.Videk; another eg of Indian narrow mindednessWe discussed how all 26/11 evidences provided by India have been rejected & asked Mr.Vaidik, why India does not respect Pakistani courts ?Row in Indian parliament over a journalists meeting with us shows the extremism, narrow mindedness of their politicians. Utterly Shameful.

"In Sri Lanka, I used to meet even worst India-haters. I listen to everybody's argument and I try to cut down their argument and persuade them," Vaidik said.

He had categorically denied any link with the Vivekananda International Foundation, to which National Security Advisor Ajit Doval is associated.

The meeting of journalist and Baba Ramdev associate Ved Prakash Vaidik with 2008 Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed generated heat in Parliament with Rajya Sabha witnessing two adjournments during Question Hour.

Former union minister Anand Sharma alleged, "Such meetings cannot take place without the knowledge of officials. Therefore a legitimate question arises, was the government of India in the loop?"
