ISIS declares Islamic 'Caliphate' in Iraq and Syria,Abu Bakr al -Baghadi as 'Caliph'

As the state of Iraq was driven to its collapse by the Sunni fighters of ISIL subtantially aided by the tribals of Northern  and Western Iraqis,Iraq Government has sent tanks  and armored vehicles  backed by helicopter gunships to try to dislodge insurgents  from the northern  city of Tikrit.
In an aggravating development, the group previously known as ISIL has renamed itself "islamic State" and declared its  leader Abu Bakr al -Baghadi as "Caliph" .Declaring  Islamic "caliphate" in an area straddling Iraq and Syria , Abu Bakr al -Baghadi as "Caliph",the head of the state pledged to free Palestine in video released by them.

The events in Iraq have global implications and the Western powers are not paying much attention towards the impact of ISIS or ISIL’s advances  in the Middle East.An unstable Iraq will constitute a loss-of-face for the US,destablise the mId-east ,worsen the Syrian situation  and the strategic impediments to US Middle East policy and to to various countrie slike Russia, China  and others who have economic  and energy ties with it.
World alignments of various powers are undergoing rapid  change in view of turmoils and fast changing scenarios  in Middle east, Afghanistan and other parts of Asia.European Union, Russia  and USA are watching this situation  with an eagle eye  to drive major  benefits  from the  situation. There is the fear  that a World War III  may be about to break out.
The insurgents are also taking the facebook, twitter  and Youtube  to undermine the morale of Iraqi soldiers. "This is not the first border we will break, we will break other borders," a jihadist from the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (Isis) warned in the video called End of Sykes-Picot, referring t the agreement between France and Britain that divided up the Ottoman empire territories after the first world war.
ISIS or ISIL’s plan is to restore the caliphate.According to Muslim prophecy--a future caliph  who will be called Twelfth Imam to the Shia Muslims and The Mahdi to the Sunni Muslims is still to come .The great Caliph will bring peace to the world for 7 years, he will rule from the Middle east (Jerusalem), and become a global Muslim spiritual leader.

"We are not here to replace an Arab cahoot with a western cahoot. Rather our jihad is more lofty and higher. We are fighting to make the word of Allah the highest," the person in the video said.
On social networkig sites ,ISIS supporters are showing their next targets Jordan and Saudi Arabia to accomplish their goal .
There are reports  circulating that after declaring Caliphate in Iraq  and Syria ,they purportedly shows its five-year plan to reestablish a caliphat from western Africa to Indonesia, conquering Israel, Iran and India.
The US State Department dismissed declaration of "Islamic Caliphate" by militants in parts of Iraq and Syria which they have seized by stating this means nothing.

"This declaration has no meaning to the people in Iraq and Syria. It only further exposes the true nature of this organization and its desire to control people by fear and edicts," State Department Spokesperson Jen Psaki said. Psaki said the militants strategy of using a repressive ideology and of conducting acts of ruthless terrorism against their people, against people across the region, has been consistent for some time now.

Government forces tried  to push back insurgents  who had swept to within driving  range of Baghdad .Russia has again played a leading role  by delivering Sukhoi jets  to assist  Government forces  retake the territory from isurgents.Trying to prevent  the rebel advance  that may jeopardize Iraq's future as a unitary state , Shia , Sunni ,Kurdish law makers  are contemplating suitable action at Parliament level.

The most ominous aspect of this conflicts and similar  impending conflict in the region is the large scale  influx of civilian population in the shape of refugees across the border as well as internally displaced population  within the countries.
To cite as  an instance , as Mosul was captured  by the fighters  from the Islamic State of Iraq  and greater Syria , more than 3,00,000 Iraqis  have fled into  Kurdish parts of Iraq, thereby exacerbating the problems  to  be tackled in future of Iraq  .

Likewise after bombing of North Waziristan area  in the tribal belt  of Pakistan about 5,00,000 persons have fled from the area but only small fraction have migrated  to the camp of khel. It is  also learned that 2,00,000 of them may have migrated  to the port  city of Karachi ,adding  to problem for the Government and MQM/Pushtuns .

However Syria has produced more homeless people than any other  recent conflict-9 million. About  3 millions  are deemed  to have  become refugees  in Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan while the remaining 6 million  are said to have been  internally displaced within the country.

When the Ottoman  were defeated  at the end of World War I , Mid-east was divided  between  the British and French in a casual manner  with the results that Shia Population came under Sunni Monarch and vice versa. now in the current conflict the confusion may be more so  confounded.
