Trump’s decisions brought problems for him and the U.S.

Washington is in a state of chaos that started with the sudden firing of director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) James Comey who was a key investigator  to probe Russian influence in U.S. 2016 election that resulted into a victory of the tycoon-turned politician Donald Trump and Moscow links with Trump's campaign team .But on May 17th the Justice Department exercised its powers and appointed an independent investigator Robert Mueller .Former FBI Director Mueller has been appointed as a special counsel  to look into the investigation and can prosecute anyone who lies to him.

Then came another devastating revelations by Washington Post that President Trump had divulged highly sensitive information concerning ISIS terror plot in the middle east to the Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov and Russian Ambassador to the United States Sergey Kislyak ,during a meeting at the Oval Office.Trump wanted to boast that he enjoys the privilege of getting  great intelligence.

Russian political influence in the United States  and the sharing of exclusive intelligence with the Moscow officials have raised concerns among Senate Republicans  about the relationship between the Trump administration and Russia.

With this intelligence sharing, the relationship of U.S. with its allies comes under doubt as to whether the allies will continue sharing the highly unclassified information with the Trump administration and Israel's ex Mossad chief has warned Netanyahu government to think twice before revealing any information concerning ISIS.

Trump's personal desire of having close ties with Putin's Russia and his recent moves has wider implications as there is a possibility that  Israeli spy can now be identified and killed by ISIS as the spy had infiltrated the Islamic State as because the information lies with the third party (Russia ) as well. Moreover, Trump have respect for the US institutions. Thus Russia is now an external threat to U.S. while TRump is an internal threat.

On May 16th reports emerged that that the president had advised his then FBI Director, Comey, to lay off Michael Flynn.
The administration ties with Russia drew renewed attention after the resignation of Michael Flynn as President's Trump's national security adviser.Flynn held multiple phone calls with Russia's ambassador to the US about sanctions on Moscow  before Trump took office.
While the White House argued that Flynn was ousted because of a lack of trust-he misled Vice President Pence  and others about those discussions.
Trump even told Russians that firing James Comey --whom he described  as "a real nut job-relieved great pressure because of Russia.

But,with Robert Mueller, the former FBI director now overseeing the Department of Justice's investigation into the Trump team's connections with Russia in the 2016 elections, is a terrible blow for President Trump .

There has been reports that Mueller  has been briefed on the contents of the memos related to former FBI Director James Comey's conversations with President Donald Trump related to the case. According to CNN, "In one memo, Comey mentioned that Trump asked him to end the FBI probe into former national security advisor Michael Flynn."

Mueller also visited FBI headquarters and discussed with the counter intelligence agents, who have been involved in the investigation of Russia's meddling in the U.S. elections since last July.

Ex-FBI Director James Comey has shown his willingness to speak to the special counsel Mueller before testifying publicly

Trump scandal is well documented  and is a source of national humiliation .That is why some Democrats  are calling for his impeachment now.If the Democrats capture the House of Representatives during mid term elections in 2018, as it looks, then it is likely that they would vote to impeach Mr. Trump but though he may be saved by the Senate.

But there should be a way to control US President Trump as he will be battling with the institutions and he won't be able to make the right decisions on matters of terrorism , Middle East etc.
