India needs deft diplomacy to deal with Chinese Dragon

India should be aware of Chinese incursions since 1962 invasion and ensure that this process stops once for all. China's designs on India are well known and Prime Minister Narendra Modi should talk to Chinese President Xi Jinping keeping national interest on top of his mind.
As India entered into an oil exploration deals with Vietnam, Chinese President Xi Jinping warned Prime Minister Narendra Modi that Beijing will not “agree” with the planned exploration “if the relevant oil exploration plans were not approved by the Chinese side.

Beijing is not backing down from its territorial claims and is exerting tighter control over fishing in the waters of the South China Sea, which are contested by countries such as Vietnam and the Philippines. The US State Department called that move "provocative and potentially dangerous."
China is wary of India ties with Japan and Vietnam . Beijing's expansionist ambitions in Asia is no secret and a Chinese proverb is famous in the world - better do in inches than in yards and Chinese government is following it in letter and spirits

Narendra  Modi Government should be cautious in its approach while dealing with Chinese president Xi Jinping, considering not only the past experience but also the current instances of incursions.
The Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Hong Lei, said"We have noted President’s Pranab Mukherjee’s visit to Vietnam. I would like to point out that China has indisputable sovereignty over Nansha islands (in the South China Sea, which Vietnam calls Paracel islands) and adjacent waters."
The Chinese strategy in South China Sea is similar to its in Depsang and Demchok area in Ladakh. And moving further, Chinese troops made fresh and deep incursions into Indian territory  just a day before Jinping's visit.

Its being a regular feature of China's policy that every time a chinese official lands in Delhi an incursion exercise is a must and these incursions happen on monthly basis as well. Now China is employing new nefarious designs by engaging people on both sides of Line of Actual Control in confrontation

Now,Chinese government is using civilians for the incursions  with malafide intensions to formalize and legitimize' it's claim.local authorities in Leh said that Chinese nomads have refused to vacate the Indian territory in Demchok and prevented Indians from working on an irrigation project there.Chinese nomads even pitched tents inside Indian territory with the help of Chinese army.
It is an attempt by Chinese to claim the territory as disputed in the same fashion as they had confiscated Nag Tsang area opposite to Phuktse airfield in 1984, Nakung in 1991 and Lungma-Serding in 1992.

Demchok in Ladakh is on the “Line of Actual Control” between India and China. It also has a long history but now the area along Line of Actual Control with China has "shrunk" over a period of time and India has lost "substantial" amount of land in the last two decades. Even the official report confim this .

President Xi Jinping  and Narendra Modi talks will focus significantly on ramping up trade and investment, besides  addressing the contentious border issue that has seen flare ups between the two Asian giants. Arunachal Pradesh stapled visa, issue of Tibet independence etc.

Amid fierce disputes with Japan, Vietnam and the Philippines, China is reaching out to India with investment worth more than the $35 billion just promised to India by Japan's government. Narendra Modi Government should also give priority to the territorial disputes

Vietnam and China clashed militarily several times in the past 30 years over the Paracel islands, which are included in the new zone.China National Offshore Oil Corporation deployed oil drilling rig 'HD 981' for operation at the location about 120 nautical miles from the Vietnamese coast, which is within the exclusive economic zone and continental shelf of Vietnam.  Chinese declared that it  "cannot afford to lose an inch" of what he called the their ancestral territory.
Chinese map tactics: In June Chinese authorities unveiled a new map showing the Beijing's territorial claims. The new map also shows China's claim over the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. The new Chinese map published in January 2013 by China's state mapping authority Sinomap Press, features 10 dashes—one dash more than China's previous demarcation—to mark a huge swath of the South China Sea in a tongue-shaped encirclement as Chinese territory

To which the Philippines asked the UN's Permanent Court of Arbitration in January to consider its case. It is thought that the court may not reach a decision before the end of 2015.
