Propaganda and alliances may unleash third World War

Many Asian countries are devoting massive resources  and finances for propaganda to shape international opinion and action agsinst rival countries.It is not a new phenomena since World War I started under similar circumstances .The immediate cause of the war was the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary and his wife by a Serbian.
This assassination led to Austria-Hungary declaring war on Serbia. When Russia began to mobilize due to its alliance with Serbia, Germany declared war on Russia. Thus began the expansion of the war to include all those involved in the mutual defense alliances.

In the current context,the ethnic cleansing of Rohingya Muslims has effected alliances among many Muslim and many non-Muslim countries which is not a good sign. When the UN human rights chief Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein accused New Delhi of lacking “basic human compassion” for attempting to expel people who were at serious risk on return,  India had struck back by pointing out that “illegal migrants” could pose “security challenges”.

Likewise Kashmir issue is hanging fire and creating tensions between India , Pakistan and even China and Muslim terror groups like al qaeda, ISIS, Jaish -e-Mohammad and Taliban pose various types of threats in the prevailing scenario.Moreover South Asian countries  are using propaganda as a weapon to create war on the basis of exploitation of resources in Balochistan.


Meanwhile, there is a cut throat competition between Iran which has a claim over Balochistan-Sistan area  on one hand and Pakistan engaged in exporting Balochistan resources to China from areas neighbouring Pakistan.

There are major flashpoints in Asia viz Balochistan, Korea, Russia's Caucasus, China's Xinjiang , Syria, Kurdistan and Muslim terrorist groups scattered in various countries  and Turkey supposedly trying to create Caliphate on the lines of Ottoman Empire.


Now as US President Donald Trump has vowed to defend its allies , it will have to jump to the side of its allies like Japna, India, South Korea in case of any eventuality.


War games by different alliances are also playing a major role in unleashing war. If the United States fights, then Germany, France, Poland and the United Kingdom will follow.There is already distrust between USA and Russia as NATO  deployment has tremendously increased  and Russian President Vladimir Putin may take parts of the Baltics.
