LoC Tension : Part of Taliban’s bigger game plan

The escalating cross border firing along the LoC in Kashmir and rapidly soaring tensions between the two countries are in fact reflections of the chaotic conditions
within the failing state of Pakistan.

A miserably weakening Pakistan government is unable to control countrywide terrorists and disruptive acts carried out by Talibans and other Jihadi groups where Army is not seen under the full control of Civilian authority and has been invariably under acts of coup in the past .

Now Tehrik-e-Minhajul Quran (TMQ) leader Dr Tahirul Qadri recently gaining support of people demands elections under the supervision of Army.Another newly emerged as a popular party headed by Imran Khan is also considered having an understanding with the army.

But the current political crisis if not solved properly ,Pakistan may again see an army taking over the power .

Nexus  between Mullahs ,Taliban creating troubles for India, Pakistan, Afghanistan
The barbaric act of mutilating the bodies of Indian soldiers by Pakistan along the Line of control in Kashmir has left the Indian nation extremely enraged.

Indian Army chief General Bikram Singh was quick to warn that Indian army would respond aggressively to such provocations at a time  and place of its choosing .

Issuing a still stern warning ,prime minister Manmohan Singh  has also warned , "After this barbaric act there cannot be business as usual (with Pakistan)."

Participating in a counter-terrorism debate presided over by Pakistan's Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar, Indian envoy to the UN Hardeep Singh Puri said the fight against terrorism has to be "unrelenting and fought across all fronts".
He said terrorists' "veritable nexus" with transnational organized crime, drug and arms trafficking is well-established and terrorist financing, illicit money laundering, drug trafficking, piracy and illicit arms trade remain intertwined in a complex web of toxic relationship.

The incidents along the LoC should be analyzed in the context of Pakistan and Afghanistan  being on the brink of instability  in the South Asian Region.
The sudden cross border  flare up in Kashmir actually springs  from the nexus working between Mullahs  like Hafiz Saeed, Taliban and rogue elements  of Pakistan army including ISI.

Now the long March of Tehrik-e-Minhajul Quran (TMQ) leader Dr Tahirul Qadri followed by supreme court ruling ordering arrest of Pakistan prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has further plunged Pakistan in a deep political crisis of manifold dimensions with unpredictable consequences.

And also  Zardari’s government  is the first civilian led administration to survive a five year term  and Tuesday ruling by  Pakistan's Supreme Court and Election Commission has confirmed that the next general election  will be held on time  ie in May this  year, and PM  Ashraf is set to lead the party into  general elections due in May .

India should Analyse the situation before making any strategy
India should view these developments  as a part of a bigger game plan by the said nexus to derail the democratic set up  in Kashmir by threatening and murdering Sarpanches  through terrorists that are being infiltrated  into India .

Indian Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde last week said Lashkar-e- Taiba founder Hafiz Saeed had visited the border areas in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir a few days before the killing of two Indian soldiers by Pakistani troops at the Line of Control.

Recently, the founder of Lashkar e Taiba and 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed and Hizbul Mujahideen supreme commander Syed Salahuddin met  delegation of Separatists and told them that armed militancy would revive in the valley in 2014.
They have already created  similar  conditions  of instability  in Balochistan where provincial government has already been suspended  and Shiite population demands security from Army.
To dismantle the Pakistani civilian government and create chaos in South Asia:Aim of  Taliban,Jihadi groups

Their aim is apparently to dismantle the Pakistani civilian government  and install a government governed by Army which has always being hand in glove with Taliban of both Pakistan and Afghanistan.

In fact, Pakistan government has with the consent of US and Afghan government released Afghani Taliban militants  that include Nooruddin Turasi ,the former justice minister and Muhammad Azeem so that reconciliation process sin Afghanistan should come  to a successful fruition.

This  was being  done to safeguard the establishment  of democratic institutions of Afghanistan and Pakistan. However, today’s developments  in Pakistan as a result of Supreme Court ruling have  the potential of jeopardizing  the security and stability efforts underway in South Asian region.

Now,India has to view the situation in Pakistan and Afghanistan in its entirety and avoid taking knee jerk decision as was done in allowing Pro Pakistan Kashmir separatists  to travel to Islamabad where they met extremists having anti India agendas.

Pakistan on its own will have to see through  the sinister gameplan of all  such jihadi elements  that are detrimental  to the interests of the region.

US President Barack Obama  back in  October 2012 had waived legal requirements that imposed stern conditions  on the multi billion dollar military and civilian aid to Pakistan that virtually tantamounted  to withdrawal of counter insurgency operations in Pakistan.
